What happens after I call?
You describe what's happening, someone heads over from here, and the number gets agreed face-to-face before a single tool comes out of the van.
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
Weekends included, public holidays included, treated no differently from a Tuesday. Plumbing trouble doesn't consult a calendar first.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Flooding, a gas smell, a cold shower with no hot water on the way, or a toilet stuck out of action all count as urgent. Trust your judgement here: causing damage or feeling unsafe is reason enough to call.
How fast can you get here?
Every call gets moved on straight away, and we aim to be on-site fast. How quickly depends on the street and what else the roster's carrying that hour, and we won't dress that up with a promise we can't keep.

Why do Gymea's older homes keep us busy?
Plenty of Gymea's original fibro and brick-veneer cottages from the post-war years still run galvanised supply pipes and early clay drainage. Both tend to fail the same way: slowly, then all at once.
Do tree roots really block drains around Gymea?
Regularly, particularly on blocks with established gardens. Roots find their way into the seams of the original clay pipework, and once they're in, the line only degrades further.
Do you work on Gymea's apartments and strata blocks?
Constantly. Newer unit blocks have filled in around the station and along the main strip, not far from where the Gymea Hotel marks the other end of it. Turnaround and pricing stay the same as a standalone house, and we keep the owners corporation or managing agent updated the whole way through.
